Time

In Memorium

Is what we see always real?
Do the stories we create or the assumptions that we form, create a reality that is the same as what exists?
These were some of the questions the author tackles with, as she collects the stories of the Women of Yelahanka. Witnessing their lives, first hand changed the way had a tremendous influence on her and altered the way she looked at things.
This book highlights a walk with the author along the paths of Old Town Yelahanka, offering a tiny peek into her experiences.

Harmony and Faith

Faith is a notion that divides today’s world. But the author contradicts this idea from her experience in Yelahanka old town. This book gives you the insight about the faith and beliefs pertaining to various castes of this town. The author uses the medium of temples to identify the vaious castes presiding over the temples along with describing how they all come seem to be working as a cohesive unit, towards a larger purpose. It is also a journey through time which is experienced by the author in two ways: one the manner of how the temples have come into existence and two, the customs and beliefs that have evolved over different phases of time. It offers the reader facts and statements obtained during an exploration of the places, supported by personal reflections along the journey
